Online Hypnotherapy

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your day to day life? Do you feel alone, isolated and misunderstood? Do you want to make sense of what's happening to you? Do you want to make changes to your life? Are you feeling stuck, with low self-esteem and confidence? Then let me help you.
About me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than thirty years supporting children, young people, and adults in education. That experience taught me how profoundly early relationships and life experiences shape confidence, self-worth, and emotional wellbeing.
Over the years, I developed my understanding of a range of approaches, including Transactional Analysis and the foundations of Systemic Family Therapy. These informed my work in the classroom and ultimately inspired me to train as a therapist.
I enjoy working as a Pluralistic Counsellor. Pluralism is an umbrella term encompassing a range of therapeutic models, allowing therapy to be tailored to each client's unique needs.
My Qualifications
Alongside the approaches already mentioned, I draw on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to inform my practice. The pluralistic approach allows me to bring all of my knowledge, experience, and understanding into the therapy room while fostering a collaborative relationship in which we work together to find the approach that best supports you.

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
How I work
I work with adults who are carrying the impact of difficult past experiences, particularly those whose childhood was marked by emotional pain, hurt, or a lack of understanding, care, or emotional support.
Many of the people I work with struggle with feelings of guilt, shame, or not feeling good enough. Together, we explore how these experiences continue to affect their lives and relationships, creating space for greater understanding, healing, and lasting change.
I bring a wealth of lived experience, curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to challenge when appropriate, helping you get to the heart of the issues that matter most. My approach is honest, supportive, and collaborative, sometimes direct and always guided by your needs and pace.
I work exclusively online, offering therapy in a safe and confidential space wherever you are.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is an effective way of addressing a range of conditions and, in some instances, can be an alternative to talking therapies. With its focused and direct approach, hypnotherapy can help create lasting change, empowering clients to take responsibility for the positive changes they want to make in their lives.
I love working with clients using hypnotherapy. Its focused, direct approach often helps us get to the heart of an issue more quickly, creating the opportunity for meaningful and lasting change. I find it allows me to develop a deeper understanding of each client, helping us work together towards the positive changes they want to make.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right therapist matters. If you'd like to explore whether we're a good fit, I'd be happy to arrange an initial conversation where you can ask questions and decide whether working together feels right for you.
